BLK BOX Bilateral Leg Press
Description
Designed and manufactured from start to finish in BLK BOX HQ, the BLK BOX Bilateral Leg Press enables the user to isolate and target specific muscles with the two independent cradles. The leg press also provides unilateral movements by simply connecting the two cradles to perform single leg press.
The leg press is an ideal movement for isolating and developing an athletes quadriceps, which in turn are essential for building strength and power in the legs. Each footplate measures at 420mm x 520mm allowing for a range of foot placements which will change muscle group activation. This offers each athlete an array of options to find comfort or change training stimulus while using the leg press.
The Bilateral Leg Press has a true weight percentage of approx. 65%. For every 100kg loaded onto the leg press, the user will be pushing 65kg. A single cradle has an acting weight of 32.5kg. With both cradles connected, the acting weight is 66kg. The total weight being pushed will be 65% of the loaded weight plus 32.5kg for a single cradle or 66kg for both cradles.
Featuring eight precision self-aligning linear ball bearings, the BLK BOX Bilateral Leg Press ensures a smooth travel throughout the full extension of the cradles. A total travel range of 1200mm means this leg press caters to athletes of all sizes.
With four loadable zinc plated utility pegs, a total of up to 100kg can be loaded onto each peg on the cradles giving a total load capacity of 400kg. The Bilateral Leg Press has been drop tested to 400kg (200kg per cradle) and it is NOT recommended to exceed this weight. Another four zinc plated utility pegs at the back of the machine can be used to store plates when not in use.
The Bilateral Leg Press features a back pad measuring at 400mm x 900mm and a seat pad at 282mm x 300mm. Both pads are made from high-density foam padding with a highly-durable vinyl leather cover. These pads offer a comfortable, firm and secure experience for the user throughout the entire duration of their exercise. Both pads can be easily wiped down and cleaned when necessary. Offering three seating positions, simply move the back pad using the easy-to-use pull-pin system to offer seating positions at 35°, 40° and 45°.
