A Message From Our Founder
Dear Friends,
I'd like to take a moment to personally update you on the actions BLK BOX are taking to during this challenging time.
The month of March started with BLK BOX celebrating its 8th year in business and completing one of our biggest projects to date for Adidas Headquarters in Germany. The last 8 years has been an extremely exciting and equally challenging journey. From starting the business in a garage to having our Headquarters in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter providing equipment to athletes, teams and gyms around the world.
The current COVID-19 pandemic is going to bring more challenges than ever before. However, challenge brings opportunity and we as a business are galvanised to ensure we do everything we can to survive this. The sports and fitness communities play such a vital role during this period to help serve, educate and inspire a healthier society. We are determined to come through this challenging period a better business than before it started and support our team and clients in the best ways we can.
SUPPORTING OUR TEAM
It goes without saying that our main priority is protecting the health of our team and their families. Our office-based staff are working remotely to support you digitally. Our manufacturing and distribution teams are working around the clock to ensure people get the products they need to stay healthy during this period. Our manufacturing and distribution teams are the lifeblood of our business and I wanted to give them a special mention for their effort this month. We have introduced different shift patterns to help ensure their work environment is optimal and conduct regular risk assessments to ensure their wellbeing is being looked after optimally. All of our team members across the different roles and levels have adapted to help meet the needs of our clients and I am very proud of their efforts and willingness to adapt so quickly.
SUPPORTING OUR CLIENTS
We have received a significant increase in orders on our website over the last couple of weeks which has increased our delivery times slightly. Rest assured we are working around the clock to process these as quickly as we can. Thank you to each and every person who has placed an order and to the gyms for recommending BLK BOX to their members to buy equipment for their homes.
We are fully committed to helping you during this challenging time and appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times. We also want to highlight the important role that the sports and fitness communities play for a healthier and stronger society. Our team is relishing the challenge by delivering the products to help people achieve this. Be rest assured we have robust plans in place to ensure we achieve our normal level of service throughout this difficult period. We will be hosting a webinar next month on “Developing Mental Fitness in the Face of Unexpected Challenges.” to help our clients during this challenging time.
