Bar + Rig was founded in 2018 as a functional fitness garage gym, by Rhyss Murty. An avid sports lover, Murty has a strong background in Gaelic Football, playing the game from a young age. After spending a summer coaching sports in Brooklyn, New York, he realised he wanted to turn his passion into a career.

Within a month of returning home, Rhyss had converted his garage into a functional and practical space, in which he could put his training and knowledge into practice and begin to coach others. BLK BOX were delighted to help Rhyss create a space that would serve his needs and the needs of his clients.
