Based in Dubai is the staggering 65,000-square-foot StudioRepublik, which offers versatile and immersive experiences in keeping with its “come to life” motto. Founded by the team who started FitRepublik, this addition to the Republik chain wants its new base to offer something quite unique

In line with their upgrade to Fit Republik, VIVO Fitness was commissioned to develop the Arena and Bootcamp Zones at Studio Republik. Working closely with us in Belfast, Vivo Fitness provided the CrossFit rig, all CrossFit equipment including over 3000kg of plates, almost 50 barbells of varying style and five custom power racks with integrated platforms in the Arena, this being the main gym at Studio Republik.

BLK BOX provided a custom 10 Bay Rig, which was installed by the Vivo Fitness team. The rig offered bespoke branded and angled wall ball targets for the lower ceiling, over 60 wall balls and almost 70 dumbbells along with custom storage solutions for the Bootcamp Zone. VIVO worked together with the lead design agency and the fit-out contractor to ensure everything worked from both an aesthetic and acoustic direction. All equipment arrived in Dubai months ahead of the official opening.
